Welcome to the Kelly Wright Website

Kelly WrightMost recognizable as the audacious backing vocalist for Cleveland favorite Anne E. DeChant, Kelly Wright proves that she just as handily holds down center stage in her new duo with guitar master Pete Cavano.  Her vocal talent is obvious in her heartfelt renditions of "Georgia On My Mind" or "Cry Me A River," and her love of performance shines through on barn burners like "Take Me To the River" and "Come Together."  The duo will ease you through that first cocktail with some sultry Ella Fitzgerald, then wrap up a set with some foot stomping Patsy Cline and meet you at the bar for a cold beer.  Come out to a show and pick up Kelly and Pete's new album, "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?"

In addition to her solo work, Kelly collaborates with some of the best talent in the city and beyond.  She is still the very outspoken support vocalist in Anne E.'s band, and will be performing in Cleveland and Nashville with Anne E. over the spring and summer, as well as recording a new album with this talented singer songwriter down south over the next few weeks.  Kelly was also lucky enough to be invited to record the Don Dixon produced "Love and Hope," an amazing collection of original christmas songs celebrating December 25th; Cleveland style.  The album, the fifth from The Ohio City Singers, represents the work of revered local musicians such as Chris Allen, Doug McKeon, Walkin' Cane, Brent Kirby, and many others.  Keep an eye out for this high energy holiday show that benefits not only our fair city, but Coats For Kids as well.
